Reckitt Benckiser: Annual Marketing Awards

reckitt_awards.jpgReckitt Benckiser tasked NYFF Events with concepting and  creating an event for its annual presentation of awards given to the company’s best marketing and advertising campaigns.  NYFF decided to host an authentic Hollywood style awards show that coincided with the week of the Oscars in Los Angeles. The event was truly a Hollywood style gala, beginning with a large plush red carpet hosted by Howard Stern and Joan Rivers impersonators as well as lots of paparazzi!  Once past the red velvet ropes, guests were engulfed by complete glam.  After cocktail hour,  the crowd moved into the theatre where they were treated to a custom designed awards show hosted by an Ellen Degeneres impersonator.  The group then moved into the museum’s gallery space for a banquet dinner decorated in true red carpet style with feathered centerpieces wrapped with red velvet ropes, flanked by 24 karat gold dipped roses.  After dinner, guests were welcomed into the “after party” area hosted by NYFF’s own Funk Factory Band, where they danced the night away.  Dessert was tastefully presented in jewelry showcases with a strolling Marilyn Monroe table.  Guests left w a keep sake Lucite framed photo of them walking the red carpet alongside all of the fabulous celebrity impersonators. The event was an overwhelming success!
 

A 23rd Birthday to remember!

NYFF was tasked to create an over the top 23rd birthday party for a celebrity Russian pop star.  Guests were flown in from all over the world to partake in the festivities of this "Big Apple" themed event!  From the living statue of liberty on the red carpet, to the taxi girls serving apple flavored martinis, this bash featured decor and props including 2000 apples, 1000 apple scented candles, drag queens performing Broadway show tunes, a DJ and of course NYFF's own Funk Factory band!  Looking forward to "24"!!

 

Maroon 5 in Concert

m5.jpgA local NY college approached NYFF to help produce the popular rock group Maroon 5 in concert.  The concert was held on campus for students and faculty of the university. NYFF's production team worked for 48 straight grueling hours bringing in everything from the staging and rigging to the trussing, lighting and of course the sound.  "We relied on Jamie and the NYFF team to help us produce the largest concert in our college's history. Their team executed flawlessly from the moment they showed up to start the load in, through the end of the strike 48 hours later.  We could not have been any happier and the concert was amazing!"
 

Reckitt Benckiser Team Building Conference

Reckitt Benckiser, a leading global consumer products company turned to NYFF to plan, design and produce a companywide teambuilding event for its US Division. The event included a day full of teambuilding activities, followed by a holiday luncheon and award ceremony. NYFF worked with the Reckitt team to design an event that reinforced the company’s core values. NYFF’s designers created a branded environment that communicated the company’s message to its team of US based employees. NYFF managed the event and all of the logistical coordination and day-of production. “NYFF fulfilled our vision with perfection and surpassed our expectations”, said Reckitt Vice President Bev Wilen. The event was an overwhelming success.

 

The California Travel and Tourism Board Food Tasting

The California Travel and Tourism Board commissioned NYFF to create a signature east-coast media event to promote California based wineries and agricultural growers. NYFF planned a complete day of activities including an exclusive luncheon for top food and wine editors that featured a menu designed and prepared  by top California chefs flown in specifically for the event. The setting for the luncheon was an authentic California fruit market designed specifically by NYFF to reinforce the messaging and branding that the Board of Tourism wanted to convey.  An abundance of freshly picked fruit, greenery, flowers and fruit stands as well as custom made backdrops of different California settings were all utilized in creating the perfect setting.

Guests made their way from lunch to a small trade-floor set up nearby that was also opened to the entire industry.  The trade show floor was adorned with more authentic décor, florals and design elements such as customized window peels of beautiful California florals and citrus. The day ended with a lavish cocktail party, and guests left with a customized eco friendly bag full of fresh California fruits and produce.

 

Footwear Brand Building Experience Hosted by Kelly Ripa

How does a footwear company known for its aerobic studio shoe from the 80’s revitalize its brand image amid a chaotic media environment and a sea of competition? And how does this same company break through the noise of a high interest category where new product introductions aren't exactly front-page news?

NYFF in partnership with Frank about Women agency created an experiential event hosting editors from leading fashion, sports, women's interest and retail publication from across the country. NYFF developed an upscale, star studded educational oasis that captured the brands relaxed, approachable and stylish persona.

  • Hosted by Kelly Ripa, the event included VIP guests.
  • Over 250 influencers experienced a customized Digital Fit Zone which invited guests to try on the brand’s most recent fashions in footwear and workout gear.
  • Large flat screens dressed the area communicating the heritage of the brand while infusing the core mission of the company: Inspired by Women, Designed by Women.
 

25th Wedding Anniversary Gala

The client and their celebrity party planner called NYFF and challenged us to transform their beautifully landscaped lagoon pool-scape, into a functional area capable of hosting 150 of their closest friends for their 20th anniversary. NYFF designed a custom set that allowed the client and their guests to enjoy a magical evening as they celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. From tenting and lighting, to a custom lucite dance floor covering their pool, NYFF coordinated all on-site production and logistics. The client is now looking forward to their 25th wedding anniversary and are excited thinking about all of the possibilities!

 

Allegria Hotel and Spa: Grand Opening

The Allegria Hotel and Spa celebrated its grand opening in style featuring the Funk Factory Band and Orchestra. Funk Factory's lead singers and guitarists Jason Murden and Mark Shine together with band leader, Chris Laybourne, rocked the crowd, which included many celebrities, politicians, and hundreds of guests. NYFF is proud to be a preferred vendor and featured house band at this luxurious and chic, boutique hotel.
